Imagine the Future You Want
Sep 05, 2023
What does it feel like to imagine the future you want? Do you ever wonder what your life would be like if you believed you can achieve it?
If you keep reading, you'll learn why it's vital to focus on what you want.
Focus on What You Want (Not on What you Don't Want)
This is important because in my conversations with high achieving individuals, I hear some common longings around reaching your potential:
- achieving higher leadership
- growing your revenues or compensation
- feeling more respected, validated and appreciated
- scaling your business to the next level.
What Gets In Your Way
The problem is...you're unconsciously focusing on what is or on what you don't want.
"Whatever we plant in our subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become reality." - Earl Nightingale
When your attention is on things you do not want, you're unconsciously preparing for more of that.
So it's up to you to notice and break that pattern. Rather than thinking to yourself, "I'm never going to rise to higher leadership," you reframe it to, "I'm enthusiastic about higher leadership opportunities."
Tell a New Story
That is a very different story which, over time, will bring you a different result.
My studies of the laws of the mind have helped me to understand how powerful the mind is. And that's why I'm so dedicated to help you learn to live in harmony with these laws.
"Fill your mind with concepts of harmony, health, peace, and goodwill, and wonders will happen in your life." - Joseph Murphy PhD, DD
