Halfway Through 2023
Jul 07, 2023Recently, we celebrated the beginning of a new season on June 21st. For many of us, it's officially the summer!
Perhaps, like me, you are enjoying more time outside in nature. Maybe you can take advantage of summer schedules, you're planning some trips or enjoying more downtime, and being with family and friends.
But it's also important to take stock of another milestone: we're at the halfway point in 2023.
And you're encouraged to reflect on where you are, what you've accomplished and what lies ahead:
1) Celebrate your wins.
What three achievements are you most proud of in the first six months of 2023?
2) Revisit your 2023 goals.
Are you going after something you really, really want...something that's going to stretch you? Or are you settling?
3) Reflect on key learnings.
What did you learn that surprised you or you didn't previously know? What challenges did you overcome?
4) Identify short-term goals.
Set short-term (90-day goals) through September 30, that will move you in the direction of your 2023 goals.
5) Check you mindset.
How would you describe your dominant attitude? What reminders can you set in place to stay focused and positive? This is vital because your thinking directly impacts your results.
As Henry Ford famously said, "Whether you think you can or you think you can't - you're right!"
There's still time for 2023 to be a remarkable year for you!
