Today, let's focus on gratitude. What is it exactly?
Gratitude a state of being grateful, thankful, appreciative.
As Jen Sincerro explains, "Gratitude is one of the strongest and most transformative states of being. It shifts your perspective from lack to abundance and allows you to focus on the good in your life, which in turn pulls more goodness into your reality."
Gratitude also requires you to make a decision to be intentional with your thinking. And it's a remedy for negativity because gratitude shifts your mental state.
The beautiful thing about gratitude is that you don't have to wait until Thanksgiving to experience it. It's a mental tool you can tap into daily that will enrich and transform your days, months and years.
As Brene Brown said: "I don't have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness - it's right in front of me if I'm paying attention and practicing gratitude."
